ERADICATE GERMS: Wipe away germs from household surfaces with non-toxic cleaning products to minimize the spread of bacteria and viruses.

HAVE A PLAN
Creating a spacious preparation schedule helps reduce your mental stress as a host during the Holidays. Your schedule should include cooking, special Holiday baking, all-natural cleaning, and any shopping. Many experts recommend working backwards from your scheduled holiday events; mapping out your “to-do” list one month from the date of your holiday entertaining. Organizing your schedule directly reduces mental stress, which also helps decrease the chances of getting sick—so pace your schedule at a rate that is realistic for the healthiest you!
Quick Tip: Did you know that natural light boosts your mental health? During the winter months, naturally cleaning your windows (inside and out), dusting light fixtures, and swapping out “warm” lightbulbs for “daylight” bulbs will filter in the brightest amount of natural light. A bright and clean atmosphere creates an inviting and fresh space while you prepare for and welcome your guests.
DUST-BUSTING
Household dust holds a host of allergens and particles that affect the respiratory health of not only yourself, but also your guests. Target cleaning all areas in your home where dust likes to hang out and create a healthy home for the holidays. Work from top-down; from ceiling fans to baseboards and everything in between. Spray Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner on a microfiber cloth and wipe painted wood ceiling fan blades and painted baseboards. For stained wood surfaces spray Brightly Green Wood Floor Cleaner on a microfiber cloth and wipe surfaces. Dust traps well on dampened cleaning cloths preventing the particles from circulating back into the air. Launder your throw blankets, guest bedding, and towels with Brightly Green Laundry Wash (Lavender or Pure & Free).

ERADICATING GERMS
Target clean surfaces that are frequently touched to remove germs for healthy holiday entertainment. Focus on these key rooms: kitchen/dining space, living/family room, bathroom and guest rooms. The goal with holiday cleaning is to remove germs. A healthy, clean home doesn’t require sterilization with heavy chemical cleaners and disinfectants. Inhaling harsh, toxic chemicals can negatively affect your lung health.
The healthiest option for your household cleaning is all-natural, plant-based cleaners. HG Laboratories has a full Brightly Green line of eco-friendly products that effectively remove germs creating a safe, non-toxic environment for guests.

In the midst of a busy holiday season, a healthy home begins with thoughtfulness and intention. By planning ahead, removing dust and allergens, and targeting germs with safe, plant-based cleaners, you create a fresh, welcoming space for family and guests. A thoughtful, simple, and focused approach to cleaning supports your well-being and elevates your holiday hosting!
